***This posting is intended for substitute employment only*** As a substitute employee, you are an "At-Will" employee. this means that your employment is temporary, intermittent or sporadic and does not provide an avenue to permanent employment. If you wish to be considered for a permanent position, you must apply during a current, permanent position job opening on Edjoin. There will be mandatory testing for this position.
Requirements / Qualifications
**REQUIRED TO APPLY (please read carefully, all required documents must be attached in order to proceed in the hiring process): ON APPLICATION: 1. Completed Edjoin Application (ALL fields filled) - incomplete apps will be disqualified 2. High School Diploma or Equivalent 3. Supplemental coursework or experience in remedial education and behavioral modification techniques AND 1 year of experience in a special education program or remedial academic program. OR Any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties may be substituted for the required experience and/or education. (MUST show on application in education/work history) 4. Contact info for 3 professional references – must be listed in the Professional References section, including email addresses REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS: 1. Typing Test: 25 wpm on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - online tests accepted 2. Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (Basic Life Support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training* *May submit proof of registration for in-person CPR/First Aid class in place of card. Registration must include your name, location, provider, and date. PREFERRED: 1. Resumes encouraged, not required. 2. Associate Degree preferred 3.
