We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. Job Summary
The purpose of the Administrative Assistant supporting the Business, Personnel, and Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment Departments is to provide essential administrative support, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all three departments. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail in managing a wide range of duties, including processing personnel records, handling sensitive employee matters, supporting recruitment and training, managing financial documentation, preparing board materials, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Education Administration, or a related field. Equivalencies: Training and experience - equivalent to two full years of business college, community college, or university education. Five (5) years of recent, successful, and progressively responsible office experience. Two (2) years in a California school district (or charter school) at a minimal level in the district, principal/school secretary, or school/staff secretary is desirable.
