Job Summary
The Community School Coordinator will report to the Principal and serve as a bridge between the school and external community partners to ensure the coordinator of programs, services and resources to improve the academic and social – emotional outcomes for students. They will manage existing partnerships, identify new partners, and monitor program quality and impact by using a data and results driven approach.
Requirements / Qualifications
AA degree (BA preferred) Bilingual in English & Spanish (Preferred) Experience working in an urban school setting Experience working with community organizations, non-profit or educational programs Experience with youth development, academic enrichment and/or family support programs Experience working with and leading community partnerships Possess a growth mindset and love of learning Demonstrate proven leadership capabilities Have a strong ethical base and self-awareness Able to work independently and manage time effectively Able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings Possess excellent interpersonal communication and written skills Need to pass a TB test and background check at time of offer
