Job Summary

Bellflower USD is seeking an experienced fiscal professional to serve as our Director of Fiscal Services. In this key leadership role, you'll manage the district's accounting, budgeting, purchasing, payroll, and financial operations while reporting to the Chief Business Officer and supervising fiscal services staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Direct district-wide fiscal operations including budget preparation, payroll, and financial reporting - Prepare and present financial statements and conduct comprehensive fiscal analyses - Oversee attendance accounting, apportionment calculations, and categorical funding compliance - Develop and implement effective fiscal policies and operational guidelines - Manage district investments and optimize financial resources - Supervise, train, and evaluate fiscal services personnel - Provide financial information and analysis to support collective bargaining - Coordinate grant applications, management, and compliance procedures Join our team and help shape the financial future of Bellflower USD.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field - Five years of financial management experience in a public agency - Two years of supervisory experience - K-12 school district experience preferred
