Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Prefer two (2) years of college with course work in computer technology with an emphasis in educational technology highly desired. • Two (2) years of experience performing technology support services, including conducting training, installing and maintaining hardware, software and materials and serving as liaison and resource person. • Experience in learning and instructing emergent computer-based technologies. • Background in Windows operating systems required. • Work experience in the audio visual electronics and computer fields and/or supplement by courses/training in computer technology and/or computer technology field work/experience. • Associate of Arts degree in Electronics and Computer Technology, and/or Microsoft A+ Technician Certification and/or Certification for Google Education Software, is desired. • Pass the District Exam.

Application Packet: Interested applicants are required to submit the following: • Apply via Edjoin • Copy of college transcripts and training certificates. • If you have taken the exam for Instructional Media/Computer Technician I with a passing score of 70% within the last two years, Human Resources will verify your testing score and you will not need to take the District exam for this position. (Testing scores are good for two years from the original testing date.) NOTE: Application packet must be complete at time of submission.
