Job Title: K-16 Network Director (Certificated – Grant Funded) Position Overview: The K-16 Network Director leads strategic implementation and oversight of county-level initiatives aligned with the North State Together K-16 Educational Collaborative. This certificated leadership role is central to building sustainable education and workforce pathways, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and driving measurable impact aligned with grant priorities. Employment Type: Certificated, Exempt, Full-Time (Grant-Funded) Reports to: Cross-Sector Executive Steering Committee Salary: Up to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education Location: Remote, with occasional travel across the North State region and rural United States Schedule: Flexible hours; time tracked based on deliverables and initiative outcomes Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic planning and execution of K-16 Collaborative goals within the county network. Serve as primary liaison between the county network, North State Together, and regional/state partners. Oversee grant compliance, fiscal oversight, reporting, and staff/contractor supervision. Cultivate and maintain relationships across K-12, postsecondary, business, government, and nonprofit sectors. Use data to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making. Plan and facilitate convening’s, working groups, and public engagement. Secure and manage sustainability funding through future grants and partnerships. Report regularly to the Cross-Sector Executive Steering Committee on progress and outcomes. Qualifications: Preferred: Valid California Administrative Services Credential, project management certification, or equivalent leadership experience in education, workforce development, or community collaboration. Master’s degree in education, public administration, or related field preferred. Proven ability to lead cross-sector initiatives and manage complex programs. Strong communication
