Under the general direction of the Community School Director, the School Social Worker provides social services to students and their families. They assist students in overcoming academic barriers by addressing social, emotional, and environmental issues that affect their education. Collaborating with parents, teachers, principals, community resources, and district employees, they offer intervention and prevention services to foster positive school adjustment.

Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential (waiver eligible until earned) Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, or related field (LMFT, LPCC)
