Full-Time Teaching Position - 1.0 FTE Transitional Kindergarten Teacher Location: Village Elementary School 600 Sixth Street Coronado, CA 92118 Credential Requirements: PK-3 Credential, Child Development Permit, or the units or experience that would permit you to obtain the credential (See below.) - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - Child Development Teacher Permit or at least 24 units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education preferred or willing to obtain. - Reading Certificate or Special Instruction Credential (Reading) preferred or willing to obtain. - CLAD / EL Authorization Required Documents: - Electronic Application, (via Edjoin.org) - Cover Letter/Resume - Copy of Valid California Credential - Copy of Transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring); if qualifying with CD or ECE units, the transcripts must show the 24 units. - Two Recent Letters of Recommendation - Most recent performance evaluation (if available) Teacher Induction: Coronado Unified School District offers a teacher induction program to clear the CA preliminary credential to qualified individuals at no cost to the employee.
