Job Summary
Conducts psychological assessments, diagnoses of learning handicaps and identification of students' handicapping conditions and recommends remediation procedures and program placements for children with special educational needs. Plans and implements in-service training programs for teachers, counselors, parents, administrators, and classified staffs. Plans and implements behavior management and parent education programs; manages counseling programs and provides individual and group counseling services to the larger school community including crisis intervention. Must possess a school psychologist, general pupil personnel services or standard designated services credential with pupil personnel specialty.
