Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • Valid California - Education Specialist Credential (Early Childhood Special Education) or Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education - Learning Handicapped • Added Authorization - Autism • EL Authorization

SIGNING BONUS: The District has established a $7,500 signing bonus for Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.
RUSD accept all years of verified teaching experience for salary placement.
Employment in this position is contingent upon pre-employment clearances: Board Approval, Department of Justice/FBI Clearance, Negative Tuberculosis Test, Pre-employment Physical Exam & Drug Screen, Child Abuse/Mandated Reporting Training (AB 1432), Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (SB 1343), legal documentation verifying your identity and any license/certification required by this job description.
