Job Summary
Job Summary
Perform routine janitorial and custodial functions at an assigned site/plant within the district. Clean classrooms, locker rooms, shops, cafeteria, gymnasiums, office and related facilities. Ensure that restrooms are cleaned and stocked daily. Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors, tile and wood floors, door panels and railings. Wash windows and walls, clean whiteboards, empty and clean waste receptacles; move and arrange furniture and equipment in preparing classrooms/multipurpose rooms for daily activities, special events, or meetings.
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid Class C California driver’s license and evidence of appropriate insurance, according to DMV regulations, may be required in addition to valid First Aid and CPR Certificates. ***Must Pass Custodial Test*** Applicants must be able to attend and take and pass the Custodial exam to be considered for the next step in the recruitment process.
