Under direction, analyze and propose work flow processes and improvement solutions by means of, modifying existing systems, supporting the implementation and integration of new solutions, or developing whole applications solutions; Work as a team member to maximize the effective use of technology applications with a primary focus on end user problem solving and process refinement via the use of existing, new, and custom applications.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in integrating applications using a wide variety of technology solutions; experience matching technologies to project specifications and justifying recommendations based upon analysis of factors including security, staff expertise, function, delivery, cost constraints, network infrastructure, possible laws and regulations and the possibility that the proposed system will accomplish its goals; experience making decisions and solving problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to recommend the best solution and solve problems. Education: Graduation required from an accredited two-year college or university with a major in computer science, information technologies, or related field. Work experience resulting in an equivalent knowledge base may be substituted for the formal education requirement. Candidates achieving a rating of 70% or better will qualify to continue in the eligibility screening process.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license which must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. This position has a probationary period of six months or 130 days, whichever is longer.
