Job Summary
Under supervision, assists certificated staff with the instruction, supervision, and training of individual or groups of special education students with severe disabilities, performs a variety of one-on-one physical care and instructional support activities, and performs related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or possession of an AA degree or higher; or verification of having obtained a passing score on a district-approved proficiency assessment demonstrating knowledge of, and ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing and mathematics.

This position will be working in the Special Education Department. Applicants must be eligible for possession of a current First Aid Card, as well as an Adult and Child CPR Card.
