Job Summary
This will be a high school placement for the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 11, 2025. Teaching all levels of show choir at a four-year high school. Direct nationally competitive show choirs involving extensive travel to national and local competitions. Learn more about our award winning District by visiting our website at www.losal.org. Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule with starting salary between $74,293 (Step 1) - $113,158 (Step 10); maximum of nine years of outside experience accepted, including up to two years credit for Substitute Teaching experience Complete applications must be submitted via Edjoin by the deadline of the posting.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential with a Music and an English Learner authorization required (must be completed by August 11, 2025) • Major or Minor in Music required by August 11, 2025 • Minimum of 3-5 years directing a successful show choir program See the list of required supporting documents below:

- Credential Copy (Copy of valid credential or program status letter, confirming credential program & anticipated completion date)
