Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Educational Administrator of Math, Science, and Computer Science (MSCS) Programs is responsible for working collaboratively to provide leadership and support for county and state instructional programming and services. The Educational Administrator for MSCS Programs provides leadership in co-designing and implementing professional learning models and innovative programs through multidisciplinary learning. This position works in collaboration with school and district leaders to build capacity through a culture of equity and growth and fulfill the mission and vision of the Monterey County Office of Education.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, public administration or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of P-12 public school teaching experience with diverse student groups Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administration, or related school leadership opportunities Possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential Valid California Driver’s License with proof of insurability
