BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Payroll, perform a variety of technical duties in the support of classified and certificated payroll; process longevity and step increases in accordance with District policies and procedures; process contract terms for employee resignations, terminations or leaves of absence; oversee and maintain Leave of Absence Calendars; audit employee payroll database to assure accurate processing of personnel requisitions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting and three years experience in financial recordkeeping and payroll activities.
