Job Summary

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Under the supervision and direction of the Superintendent, the CBO will provide leadership in planning, supervising, and directing the support and administration programs of the District’s Business Services Department and providing support and administration of the programs of the District. Responsibilities include personnel evaluation, planning, budgeting, and managing all aspects of the financial programs in the District. 2CBO / 241

• Possess a four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field • Chief Business Official Certificate from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) or other recognized professional organization or university/college desired • Evidence of progressively responsible management experience in business services, including management experience in budgeting and accounting operations preferably in a public-school district
