Job Summary
Under the supervisor of the Cafeteria Operation Manager; has charge of kitchen serving 150 or more students daily, performs skills, functions and activities in cooking and baking in large quantities; to assist in the leading of food service personnel and in the up keep of a food service facility to be in an orderly, safe and sanitary condition.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current State of California Approved Food Safety Certification Course Knowledge of modern nutrition standards, applicable health and sanitation requirements, and standard food service appliances and equipment. Ability to lift or move food, material and supplies, of up to 50 pounds.
3 Current Letter of Recommendation, Resume, and Letter of Intent 2 years of experience in quantity food preparation and/or service in a commercial institutional or school food service facility.
