Under the supervision of the Director-Information Services, leads and participates in programming, coding, testing and maintaining assigned computer systems and programs; maintains, enhances, upgrades, and secures District data systems; assists in prioritizing and managing programming requests; analyzes needs, evaluates, and designs systems and programs; assists end-users in the operation of systems; performs related work as required; trains and provides work direction to assigned personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field and one - two years increasingly responsible programming experience.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Short Term Summer Analyst I: Programmer positions will be available in the IT Department for the month of July. Hours may vary up to 40 hours per week. *If you are a 10 month employee you are still eligible to apply for this position to work during your summer break period if you have passed the probationary period by the time this posting closes. You would return to your permanent position in August when your work calendar begins. Please review the requirements of this position in the attached job description.
