The teacher’s primary responsibilities and qualifications are listed below. All teachers report to their site administrator (s). The teacher is responsible for the development and performance of the courses they instruct. The teacher will foster a collaborative and stimulating classroom environment for a diverse group of students, as well as foster a strong collaboration between parents, faculty members, board members and community partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Must possess a current California teaching credential -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university -Master’s degree in subject matter field or Education is strongly preferred -Meet all NCLB requirements -At times this job may entail lifting, walking, sitting and standing for periods of time
