Job Summary

Job Summary

The Westminster School District is announcing the opening for the position of Director, Whole Child & Family Engagement. Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer or administrative designee, the Director of Whole Child & Family Engagement provides leadership for developing, implementing, and supporting systems of student wellness, behavior intervention, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), attendance recovery, and family engagement across the district. The Director collaborates with Educational Services, Student Services, site leaders, and community partners to ensure a coordinated, equitable approach that promotes the academic achievement, safety, and well-being of all students, aligned to the district’s strategic plan.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Minimum of five (5) years of successful administrative and/or leadership experience in a K-12 setting • Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing MTSS, PBIS, and family engagement systems • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices, SEL, and equity-centered frameworks • Master’s Degree or higher in Education, Counseling, or related field • Bilingual ability (Spanish or Vietnamese preferred) • Experience coordinating community partnerships and wraparound service models • Familiarity with California's Community Schools Framework (CCSPP preferred)
