Job Summary
The Health Science/Nursing Teacher delivers instruction aligned with the California CTE Model Curriculum Standards and Health Science and Medical Technology pathway frameworks, develops and implements a rigorous curriculum emphasizing foundational health concepts, patient care, medical terminology, and workplace readiness, preparing students for post-secondary education and entry into careers.

Salary Schedule Placement
Teachers shall be given year-for-year credit for out-of-district teaching experience at the time of initial placement on the salary schedule. Teacher experience, for salary schedule placement purposes, shall include all experience in K-12 positions requiring a teaching credential.
