Job Summary
The Centralia Elementary School District is seeking (1) dynamic and collaborative bilingual educator for the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program. Ideal candidates will be committed to the success of the program. The position is permanent and the successful candidate will be offered a probationary contract for the 2025/26 school year. The mission of the DLI program is to develop the bilingual, biliterate, and sociocultural competencies of students using additive approaches in a two-way bilingual education context (while meeting grade level content achievement benchmarks). The program will offer an initial language ratio of 90:10 for instruction. The grade level is to be determined.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development) certification in Spanish, or other bilingual (Spanish) authorization. This is a position at Centralia School for the 2025/26 school year.
