Job Summary
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Plan and direct a program for selection of qualified personnel, including preparation of recommendations to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for personnel appointments following the involvement of site administration, district directors and managers; compose and conduct personnel tests; administer provisions of the Education Code as it applies to personnel; prepare and distribute recruitment materials; interface personnel information with business services in a coordinated, timely, expeditious manner; maintain personnel records; initiate and maintain current status of employee documents; certify eligibility and placement of employees on district payroll, deductions, fringe benefit program; update units for employee salary advancement; provide necessary processing for issuance and renewal of credentials; make timely announcements of dates to be observed by applicants and employees to comply with state and district requirements; sit on negotiation teams; coordinate and/or conduct employee trainings and orientations; coordinate activities following an on-the-job injury with employees, medical facilities, the District and the worker's compensation administrator; coordinate employee benefits with vendors, employees and the District.
Requirements / Qualifications
Teacher credentialing experience preferred but not required.
