Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Principal this credentialed position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within designated school areas that include Academic and Expanded Learning Programs. This position plans, develops and oversees implementation and supervises programs and program staff. The Expanded Learning Program / STEAM Lead (ELP / STEAM Lead) focuses on developing the interests of SVA students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences during the school day, after school, and during summer session. The ELP STEAM Lead designs, coordinates and leads team members to execute academic lessons, organized activities and enrichment projects including learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), music, games, 4H, and athletics.

Requirements / Qualifications

All SVA teachers (TK-6) will hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, permit, or other document required for the teacher’s certificated assignment (including CLAD and BCLAD if necessary).
