Job Summary
Job Summary
Parent Infant Programs provides direct services to families with children ages 0-5 who have a need in one area or more of their development or a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome or Epilepsy. As a Developmental Consultant your role would consist of supporting caregivers by focusing on the child’s individual needs and different areas of development. This is an independent yet supported position that relies on time management skills to be able to provide direct services to families in a variety of settings.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field; or equivalent experience • 2 years of experience directly supporting families and children with developmental needs • Ability to demonstrate strong communication, problem solving, and organization skills • Strong understanding of current best practices in Early Intervention • Ability to utilize coaching strategies • Ability to assess development and needs utilizing a variety of methodologies • Current California Driver’s license and insured transportation Required Documents: • Cover Letter • Resume

Full Time Benefits (Part time benefits dependent on hours worked)
* 8 paid holidays
* 2 weeks vacation
* 48 hours sick time (Sick time is excluded from the required minimum direct hours)
* Group health insurance (company pays 100% of base plan for the employee)
* Mileage expense is reimbursed at .60 a mile
* Laptop provided by Parent Infant Programs
* No cost membership to 24/7 telehealth/telemedicine
* Salary does not change if visits are cancelled
* Option to earn Bonus Pay
* Flexible Schedule
* $150 monthly Remote Working Reimbursement allowance
* Home Office Supplies
