Job Summary
The full-time position of Community Schools/Expanded Learning Coordinator will begin July 2025. This position will require the employee to work 210 days on a custom calendar (Monday - Friday) over 12 months. Hours of employment may vary between 7:45am - 6:30pm (8 hour shift). *Work schedule is subject to change at anytime at the District's discretion. DEFINITION Under direction and supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and/or Designee, represents the district and serves as a liaison between the district, families, educational partners, and community agencies; provides departmental leadership that promotes collaborative planning, innovative thinking and exemplary programs and services; performs a variety of communication responsibilities, exercising a degree of self-direction and independence. Performs other related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
To apply for the position of Community Schools/Expanded Learning Coordinator, you must meet the minimum requirements below: -Valid CA Administrative Credential -Valid CA Teaching Credential or Education Specialist Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential or School Nurse Services Credential -Master's degree or above -Minimum 3 years teaching and/or student support services experience -Minimum of 2 years elementary instructional support/leadership experience

Comments and Other Information
SALARY
-Salary credit will be given to Coordinators new to the District for previous experience in an administrative position outside of the District up to a maximum of two years for placement on the salary schedule. Upon recommendation of the Superintendent and with approval of the Board of Trustees, additional credit for previous administrative may be given.
-$500.00 annual stipend for doctoral degree.

-Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD;
-Certificated management staff in this position are paid monthly on an 12-month pay schedule (July-June).
