Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for the general administration of personnel, programs and risk management.

Tentative Dates: First Round Interviews - June 17, 2025 Second Round Interviews - June 18, 2025 Resume Letter of Interest ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, plans, organizes and directs a comprehensive human resources program including the recruitment, selection, evaluation, classification of all employees, wage and salary administration, employee relations, collective bargaining, substitute management, health benefits, worker’s compensation; and performs such other related duties as may be assigned. • Administers all procedures and policies relative to both the classified and certificated personnel programs of the District in conformity with the requirements of appropriate Federal and State laws including the California Education Code and local Board policy. • Oversees all personnel actions including the assignment, transfer, reassignment, promotion, demotion, and discipline of personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree and three years personnel experience including supervision. • Master's and Administrative Credential preferred. • Experience with school or state agencies is desired • Recent experience as a Human Resources administrator. • Knowledge of and experience with current legislation related to certificated and classified personnel of the school district. • Knowledge and oversight of employer-employee relations matters. • Strategic and analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems and facilitate decision-making processes. • Previous experience working effectively with diverse groups. • Valid California Drivers License
