Job Summary: Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a highly motivated Elementary Math Intervention Teacher to support students performing below grade level in mathematics. This teacher will provide push-in and pull-out instructional support through small group, targeted lessons using research-based strategies aligned with California Common Core Standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver push-in and pull-out math interventions for students in Grades TK–6 Plan and implement differentiated, small-group instruction to address skill gaps Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and site administrators to align interventions with grade-level curriculum Support the implementation of district-approved intervention programs and assessment tools Maintain clear documentation of student progress and instructional strategies Participate in site and district professional development and data team meetings Communicate with families to support student learning Minimum Qualifications: Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential EL Authorization or CLAD Certification Strong understanding of California Common Core Mathematics Standards Experience using data to guide and adjust instruction Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in intervention or small-group math instruction Knowledge of intervention platforms such as ST Math, i-Ready, or similar Bilingual (Spanish or other) preferred
