The Extended Day Program is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Lead to join our team. Under the general direction of the Extended Day Program Manager and/or the Executive Director of Charter Alternative Programs, the Program Lead will play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students outside of regular school hours. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead program operations, implement program goals, and contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the Extended Day Program. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, student-centered environment and is committed to supporting academic and social-emotional growth. Key Responsibilities: • Provide on-site leadership and oversight of daily program operations • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students • Support the implementation of program goals aligned with district and site priorities • Ensure fiscal accountability and program compliance with district and state guidelines • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to program operations, trends, and special projects • Strengthen collaboration with school sites, families, and district partners to ensure program success Qualifications: • Experience working in youth development, Expanded Learning Opportunity Program, or educational programs • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to adapt to evolving program needs and manage multiple priorities • Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing program dedicated to supporting students beyond the traditional school day. Job Requirements - Qualifications: Experience: Prior job-related experience preferred Education: • A.A. degree or equivalent and 12 E.C.E. units preferred • Experience as an instructor in a child daycare or in an educational setting required.
