THE POSITION: The Coordinator III, Center for District Capacity Building, shall provide technical, specialized, consultative, advisory, and planning support to schools and districts eligible for assistance as part of the California System of Support; provide field-based services to schools and districts throughout Los Angeles County; collect and analyze program impact data for improved decision making; participate and support District and School Leadership Teams in planning; provide customized technical support to improving schools, coordinate resources for schools and districts, and perform other related duties as assigned. The Coordinator III for the Center for District Capacity Building, shall create and deliver Professional Development not only to the Districts, LEA’s and school sites that we serve, but also develop PD and support County and Statewide as needed. In addition, the Coordinator III, Center for District Capacity Building will be fluent in complex content for diverse audiences incorporating key elements of systems change approaches including but not limited to California MTSS, Improvement Science, Implementation Science, using a Compassionate Systems Approach creating coherence designed to support district leaders using a tiered system of support that aligns with their school and district plans towards improving educational attainment of the students in their schools while simultaneously addressing the inclusion and equity needs of the students we serve.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: ? Five (5) or more years of comprehensive, directly related, and progressive school and district level administration experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of direct supervisory experience Education: Equivalent of a Master's degree, or higher, in education or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: (Please provide a copy of each credential document as it appears on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website with the document number on it.) Possess a valid Clear California Administrative Credential and a valid K-12 teaching credential.

In order to be considered as a candidate, the application must include email and phone contact information for three professional references. One reference must be your current supervisor. Select individuals who can comment on your skills, work ethic, and abilities based on their professional experience with you. Ideally, these references should be former supervisors or colleagues, who have directly observed your work performance.
