Core instruction includes comprehensive traditional academic subjects extended to include character development, digital literacy, art, music, hands-on science, and physical education. All schools offer embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Each student in grades 3-6 has 1:1 access to Chromebooks. In grades K-2 there is one mobile digital device for every two students. All instructional environments include access to high speed wireless connectivity to the internet.

Position starts 7/1/2025. Under the supervision of the Director - Expanded Learning Programs, plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and participate in program operations and activities, including the After School program, district specialist programs, and Summer Learning program; design and analyze programs in coordination with Instructional Services objectives; serve as a liaison to the Expanded Learning Programs; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned classified personnel; and assist the Director in the overall management of the Expanded Learning Programs.

Master's degree
Minimum of five (5) years of successful school-based experience working with school-age
children, especially students with diverse backgrounds, required.
Minimum of 2 years elementary instructional support/leadership experience.
Experience in design and delivery of professional development services.
Experience with student discipline and behavior support programs.
Demonstrated leadership and expertise in management of educational programs.
Valid California driver’s license and insurance coverage required by law.
Bilingual/biliterate preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
