Requirements / Qualifications
• Current California Administrative Credential • Experience serving as a superintendent or cabinet- level district administrator, background as a school administrator and/or teacher • An earned Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university related to the field of education

The Board of Trustees of Modoc Joint Unified School District has enlisted the Modoc County Office of Education Superintendent of Schools for assistance in finding their next superintendent. Mike Martin and Sonya Murphy will serve as Search Advisors. Applications will be screened and reference-checked by a committee of professionals. Candidates with top rankings will be interviewed by a Panel and the Governing Board. Prior to final selection, a community visit may be conducted for the final candidate.
Board and Panel interviews are tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 13, 2025.
