Position Overview: Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemistry and a commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for high school students.
Requirements / Qualifications
*Letter of Introduction *Resume *Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation within the last 12 months *Copies of all Transcripts (official transcripts required upon hire) *Copies of Credential(s) Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered. Required: *Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science with authorizations in Chemistry and Biology. *English Learner Authorization (CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent). *Strong knowledge of NGSS and current best practices in science education. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: *Authorization to teach Physics. *Experience teaching in a diverse, urban school setting. *Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
