Job Summary
This is an open and promotional recruitment to establish an eligibility list to fill vacant positions for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The eligibility list will also be used to fill any vacancies which may occur within a period of one year, or until depleted. Campus Safety Assistant positions work 204 days per year at a school site (middle school or high school); typical positions are 3 - 4 hours per day. The recruitment process will consist of a training and experience examination and a structured interview, which will be scheduled on an ongoing basis BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Principal, patrol and supervise campus activities to assure the safety and security of students, staff and visitors in non-classroom activities; enforce and assure student compliance with school and District rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
Entrance Qualifications Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Possession of valid First Aid and Child/Infant/Adult CPR certificates issued by a recognized agency.
