Our total enrollment is around 75 students, with most classes serving 20–30 students across multiple grades. You’ll be part of a warm, “yes-minded” team committed to making school rigorous, joyful, and unforgettable. We work closely together, value flexibility, and embrace innovation—including using AI tools like ChatGPT to multiply impact in a small-school setting. What makes this job special: Positive, collaborative staff and strong support from our Reading Specialist. Aligned curriculum pacing and implementation of our schoolwide writing program. Deep familiarity with California standards is a must. Early-release Wednesdays for collaboration, PLC, and PD. After-school and summer enrichment programs. We’re looking for someone who: Brings creativity and “edutainment” to the classroom. Supports PBIS, communicates effectively, and embraces collaboration. Our staff works collaboratively and supports one another through close communication, shared leadership, and a strong sense of purpose. Candidates should be comfortable teaching to the California State Standards, supporting PBIS, using technology (including AI tools like ChatGPT), and contributing to our school culture through after-school offerings, parent engagement, and school events.
This position requires a willingness to drive a school van, participate in campus life (including clubs, sports, and PBIS), and potentially serve as a CAASPP Testing Coordinator. Experience with or interest in leading extracurricular programs is highly valued.
