AB 2345 commencing on July 1, 2025, requires that any person hired on a Short-Term Staff Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave, or a Preliminary or Clear Designated or Career Technical Education Credentials must have a certification in CPR that meets the standards established by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
