Job Summary
Valle Lindo School District is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve our PreK–8th grade students. Under the direction of the school site principals the SLP will provide speech and language services aligned to IEPs, support students in developing effective communication skills, and collaborate with educators and families to promote academic and social success.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited program in Communicative Disorders (ASHA-approved) Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License ASHA CCC preferred Spanish fluency preferred, but not required
Resume Letter of Introduction 3 Current Letters of Recommendation Copy of California SLP License Copy of SLP Services Credential Transcripts showing conferral of Master’s Degree

Essential Duties
Screen, assess, and provide therapy for students with a range of communication needs
Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech/language services
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
Participate in early intervention (TK), MTSS/RTI, and IEP teams
Maintain accurate documentation and service logs (Welligent experience preferred)
Provide staff development and family education regarding communication needs
