Vista High School is seeking ASSISTANT TENNIS Coaches for the 2025-2026 school year.
The school is a comprehensive high school of nearly 1,800 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful north San Diego County.
The school's athletic program has a long history of success and is hoping to continue its performance in Girls Tennis.
The Vista High School Girls Tennis program is:
*A member of North County Valley League competing against El Camino, Oceanside, Escondido, San Pasqual, Rancho Buena Vista and Valley Center High Schools.
*A complete program including junior varsity and varsity levels of competition.
Support & responsibilities for an Assistant Girls Tennis Coach includes:
* Extra-duty salary compensation - (one stipend each, Varsity, JV)
* Fund raising
* Assist in Practice planning & game preparation
* Assist in issuing uniforms and equipment
* Acting as a role model for integrity, hard work and representing Vista HS in all interactions on and off campus.
* Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director or Administration.
The position requires the following qualifications:
* At least some previous experience in coaching/playing high school Tennis.
* The ability to establish and maintain a competitive tradition in a climate that supports student success with high student expectations.
* The desire and ability to compete with area high schools in various CIF competitions including all CIF sanctioned games and playoffs.
