About the Employer

The Charter School Association of Willits is the governing body of Willits Elementary Charter School (Grades K-5) and Willits Charter School (Grades 6-12). Both schools are free, public, independent charter schools open to all who wish to attend. We do not charge tuition, teach religious doctrine, or discriminate in admissions policies or employment practices. The small town of Willits, gateway to the redwood forest, is about three hours north of San Francisco in the heart of beautiful Mendocino County. We are within easy driving distance of the Mendocino coast, Mendocino National Forest, Eel River, and Sonoma wine country. Our two campuses are proud to have dedicated staff and faculty. Willits Charter School is seeking substitute teachers for the 2026-2026 school year and beyond. Substitute teachers support students in a variety of grade levels and classes. We are looking for talented educators who maintain a positive attitude and enjoy working with middle and high school students. Come join the Willits Charter School family! Our daily sub rate is $185/day (consecutive days 1-10), $200/day (consecutive days 11-20), $250/day (consecutive days 21+)
