Expected Start Date is on August 18, 2025. Under general supervision, to assist teachers in supervising the classroom and playground activities of children in Special Education classes; to relieve teachers of routine clerical and authorized instructional duties and do related work as required and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: • Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade and successful passage of Instructional Aide test or meet NCLB (No Child Left Behind Act) requirements for paraprofessionals. • Current TB test. • Valid current California Driver’s License. • Some positions within the classification may require other specific experience to assist in knowledge and/or skill acquisition. Desirable: • Previous experience interacting with student with special needs in a public school setting. • Valid first aid and CPR card or certificate. This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 14.5. A full job description is attached. <NCLB (No Child Left Behind Compliant.)-would either need to have an AA degree or higher or 48 or more college units (towards a BA) (must provide unofficial transcripts attached to the application) and/or the passing of our district's Instructional Aide Eligibility Test.
