The Superintendent serves as the Chief Executive Officer, and the Secretary to, The Governing Board. Provides overall leadership for the educational program and operation of the school district, including the areas of curriculum, management, finance and budgeting, personnel administration and coordination with other public agencies and civic organizations.

Qualifications should include: Successful teaching experience (K-12 level)
Site level of administrative experience
District level or superintendent experience
Eligibility for certification in the State of California
Demonstrated background in curriculum, instruction, labor relations and collective bargaining
expertise in planning, organizational development, and problem solving
Business management, school district fiscal affairs, and school facilities
Proven experience working with diverse populations
