Job Summary
Serve as the educational leader and assistant administrator of the SE4K summer program; plan and direct the instructional programs and school plant operations; organize, direct, and supervise assigned certificated and classified staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
This is a summer assignment for 30 days of instruction (June 18 -Aug 2) plus 3 days for orientation, set up, and close of program at the current admin per diem rate. There are two shifts available 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. DUTIES: - Plan, organize, coordinate and direct instructional activities and plant operations for the SE4K program. - Direct, coordinate, and implement SE4K instructional programs in accordance with District regulations and other specially funded program requirements. - Identify program needs and answer questions from students, staff, and the community. - Communicate with teachers and office staff to assure instructional programs meet student needs and SE4K program requirements. - Assure the health, safety and welfare of students; administer discipline in accordance with District policies; administer first aid according to established procedures. - Organize, administer and direct operations of the school plant; assure proper management and inventory of materials, equipment, buildings and grounds. - Meet and confer with a variety of groups and individuals including parents, District personnel, concerning individual students and instructional programs; meet with parents regarding specific school issues. -Perform related duties as assigned.
