Director of Contract Administration and Procurement Services – Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) LAUSD is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to serve as the Director of Contract Administration and Procurement Services. This high-level role oversees the planning, organization, and execution of District-wide procurement activities, including contract negotiation, competitive bidding, vendor management, and compliance with grant and legal requirements. The position is responsible for leading multiple teams and ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and strategic impact of procurement services across the second-largest school district in the nation. The annual salary for this position ranges from $171,470 to $213,615, and includes a generous benefits package, such as paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; CalPERS retirement; 24 vacation days per year; and up to 13 paid holidays. Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree (preferably in business or public administration); an advanced degree is highly desirable. At least four years of management experience in contract administration or procurement, with two years managing procurement personnel in a large organization (500+ employees) or school district (10,000+ students). Government contracting experience is preferred. A valid California driver’s license is required. Certifications such as CFCM or CPCM from NCMA are preferable.
