Under the direction of the school site principal and the Director of SPED, the SLP will screen, evaluate and provide treatment for students with a variety of communication needs including but not limited to speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language impairments, social language deficits, voice disorders, and fluency disorders; monitor, assess and adjust treatment in response to student needs and progress; meet, consult and confer with parents, staff, faculty, administrators, and others concerning the speech, language and other communication needs of students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: - Master’s Degree from an accredited Program in Communicative Disorders or comparable education (must be ASHA approved) - Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License - Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential - Spanish language fluency preferred, not required
