Job Title: High School STEM/Math Instructor Location: St. Vincent de Paul College Prep, Petaluma, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually Application Deadline: May 27, 2025 Job Summary: St. Vincent de Paul College Prep, a Catholic college preparatory high school in Petaluma, CA, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Science/Math Instructor for the 2025–2026 academic year. Our current need is for a full-time instructor to teach 5 classes in our Science /Math department, primarily in Algebra 2 and Statistics. We also have a need for 1-2 sections of Science electives such as Environmental Science, Forensic Science or Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in assigned courses. Develop and implement project- or problem-based learning experiences. Collaborate with faculty to create cross-curricular connections. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Participate in experiential learning programs, clubs, and campus events. Chaperone at least one religious retreat and moderate a student club or activity. QUALIFICATIONS -B.A. or B.S. required; credential and/or graduate degree preferred. -3+ years classroom teaching or equivalent experience, ideally across a range of levels. -Applicants new to or returning to the classroom are encouraged to apply provided they bring requisite prior experience with pedagogical practices, youth development, Science content domain expertise. -Because we are a private school, a valid California teaching credential is NOT required.
