Job Summary

Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher to provide individualized and specialized physical education instruction to students with disabilities as determined by their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The APE teacher works closely with special education teams and general physical education staff to support student access and success in physical education.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Resume -3 letters of recommdation within last 12 months -Cover Letter -Copy of transcripts -Copy of valid teaching credential with Adaptive PE authorization or added authorization required

CLAD/BCLAD certification or English Learner authorization preferred Current CPR/1st Aid Preferred Valid California Driver's License and access to reliable transportation Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of adapted physical education strategies, equipment, and best practices. Experience with IEP development and implementation. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus.
