Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Instruction & Curriculum:
- Teaching multiple math classes assigned by the School Principal.
- Demonstrating comfort and confidence in integrating biblical truths into mathematics, ensuring students see God’s hand in all aspects of learning.
- Knowing the curriculum and essential standards of middle school math.
- Designing lesson content and activities that are developmentally appropriate and align with the school’s philosophy and objectives.
Student Support & Assessment:
- Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely records of each student’s progress.
- Posting grades on RenWeb weekly, with at least two grades per week.
- Informing parents of student progress through messaging, report cards, and individual meetings.
- Designing and implementing intervention and enrichment opportunities for the diverse learning needs of students.- Using the Student Study Team (SST) process to monitor and refer struggling students.
School & Community Involvement:
- Actively participating in extracurricular activities, including Back-to-School nights, Open House, New Family Orientation, fundraising events, community-building events, school dances, sporting events, worship nights, and more.
- Demonstrating a commitment to the school’s mission and fostering a Christ-centered learning environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Must hold a valid California Single Subject Credential in Math, a Supplementary Authorization in Math, or equivalent certification from another state.
