About the Employer

The Merced County Office of Education assists Merced County’s 20 school districts through support and oversight of curriculum and instruction, alternative education, business services, early education, technology, migrant education, special education, and teacher credentialing. MCOE is led by the elected Merced County Superintendent of Schools and governed by the Merced County Board of Education. While serving as a focal point to facilitate local school/government/community partnerships, MCOE is responsible for the fiscal oversight of each school district in Merced County, hears appeals for student expulsion hearings and interdistrict transfers and operates Green Meadows Outdoor School.

As a 21 CSLA Leadership Coach, you will provide individualized, job-embedded coaching to school and district leaders holding Clear Administrative Credentials. Your role will focus on supporting equity-centered leadership practices and continuous improvement principles.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications Valid Clear Administrative Services Credential Extensive experience in school leadership roles Strong understanding of the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to equity and continuous improvement in education.

21 CSLA Coaching Grant Funded - California School Leadership Academy Coach (25 hours per protege). Coaches may receive $75 an hour for professional learning provided by the Mid-State Regional Academy up to a maximum of 22 hours.
