Under the direction of the Associate Director of Instruction, the Global Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and promoting global learning initiatives that support internationalization, cross-cultural understanding, and global competency. This role works collaboratively across departments and with external partners to facilitate global partnerships, student travel programs, and global curriculum integration. The ideal candidate is passionate about global engagement and committed to inclusive, equitable access to global learning experiences.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Global Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Valid California Teaching Credential. - 2–4 years of experience in global education settings, international program coordination, or a similar role. - Strong project management, organizational, and intercultural communication skills. - Demonstrated experience supporting diverse student populations and promoting inclusive global learning. - Familiarity with international travel logistics, cultural exchange programs, and global safety protocols. - Proficiency in one or more world languages. - Experience living, studying, or working abroad. - Knowledge of international education policies, visa processes, and program accreditation. - Experience with virtual exchange or global online learning platforms.
